Terms of Sale & End-User License Agreement

Who we are

TECHEMV SRL, Pordenone, Italy, VAT IT01960380937 (“TECHEMV”, “we”). Contact: info@techemv.it. These terms govern the purchase and use of BridgeLab (“the Software”).

The Software

BridgeLab is a desktop workbench for HL7 v2 and FHIR integration work. Its source code is published under the MIT license (see the repository), except for the paid-tier feature directories marked in the repository’s LICENSE file, which are published under the Business Source License 1.1 (official builds may be used under these terms in every edition, with those features unlocked only where the edition includes them; any other production use of those directories requires an active Enterprise subscription; each version converts to MIT four years after its publication). Nothing in these terms restricts any right those source licenses grant you. What a Pro or Enterprise subscription provides is the commercial package around the official TECHEMV builds: activation codes that unlock the Pro/Enterprise features in those builds, the license-activation service, support, and updates during the paid period. The BridgeLab name and logo are trademarks of TECHEMV SRL and may not be used to distribute or market modified builds.

Subscriptions and seats

Pro and Enterprise are annual per-seat subscriptions. One seat covers up to two concurrent activations (e.g. desktop + laptop) for the same user; activations can be freed at any time with the in-app Deactivate function. Licenses are issued as activation codes; the code is personal to the purchasing organization and must not be published or resold. Renewal extends the paid period of the same code.

Purchases

Orders may be placed (a) by requesting a quote from TECHEMV and paying the resulting invoice, or (b) through our online checkout operated by FastSpring. Bright Market, LLC d/b/a FastSpring acts as reseller and Merchant of Record for online orders: your purchase is made from FastSpring, which handles payment processing, invoicing and applicable taxes, and FastSpring’s terms of sale apply to the checkout transaction in addition to this agreement covering the use of the Software.

License grant

Upon payment, TECHEMV grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro/Enterprise features of the official builds for the number of purchased seats, for the duration of the paid period. When the paid period ends and is not renewed, the Software automatically reverts to the free Community tier; your files and data are not affected.

Restrictions

Activation codes are personal to the purchasing organization: they must not be published, shared outside it or resold. You may not abuse, disrupt or attempt to defraud the license-activation service. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the published source licenses (MIT, and BUSL-1.1 for the marked directories), or rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Healthcare disclaimer (important)

BridgeLab is a development, testing and troubleshooting tool for integration engineers. It is not a medical device, is not CE-marked or FDA-cleared, and must not be used for clinical decision-making or as part of the intended purpose of a medical device. You are responsible for validating any interface before production use and for handling patient data lawfully (see Privacy).

Warranty and liability

The Software is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TECHEMV disclaims implied warranties and its total liability arising from the Software or these terms is limited to the amounts paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Support

Pro includes e-mail support; Enterprise includes priority support. Support covers the Software itself, not the design of your integrations.

Termination

We may revoke licenses obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms. Governing law: Italy; venue Pordenone, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
